Surface and subsurface characterizations based on various advanced methods including geophysical inversion, geostatistics, artificial intelligence; Long-term groundwater level changes and predictive estimations for saturated and unsaturated zone characterizations including groundwater recharge rate, regional scale hydraulic properties; Water flow and contaminant transport in unsaturated and saturated zones and their quantifications (quantifying groundwater resources and assessing groundwater vulnerability); Application of advanced machine learning techniques to various groundwater and geological problems
