Major Research Achievements
o Essential roles for Cbfb in osteoblast formation and chondrocyte maturation by Runx2 and in articular chondrocyte maintenance by Runx1.
o Various biological applications of 4-Hexylresorcinol, including anticancer, anti-inflammatory, and biocompatibility enhancing functions.
o Establishment of a mouse vascular calcification (VC) model using high dose vitamin D and identifying the essential role of Runx2 and VDR in VC.
o Essential role of the Runx2 carboxyl terminus for subnuclear targeting, osteoblast formation, and chondrocyte maturation during skeletal tissue development
