Research Interests

o Finding pathogenesis and therapeutic target of various spectrum of liver diseases from alcoholic and non-alcoholic liver disease to hepatocellular carcinoma
o Finding pathogenesis and related mechanism of gender difference in hepatocellular carcinoma
o Development of a diagnostic marker in veterinary pathologic diagnosis (i.e. infectious diseases, tumors)

o Case report: Fatal neonatal sepsis associated with Escherichia fergusonii infection in a common bottlenose dolphin (Tursiops truncatus)
o Disrupted intestinal mucosal barrier mediated by alcohol consumption aggravates systemic microplastic accumulation
o Intrahepatic cholelithiasis with gallbladder-like metaplasia of intrahepatic bile ducts associated with gallbladder agenesis in a wild boar
o Ginsenoside Rg3-enriched Korean red ginseng extract attenuates Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease by way of suppressed VCAM-1 expression in liver sinusoidal endothelium
o Mammary adenoma associated with chronic mastitis in a wild boar (Sus scrofa)
o Vitamin C alleviates alcoholic liver injury by suppressing neutrophil infiltration in senescence marker protein 30-knockout mice irrespective of its antioxidant effects
