Abstract

The existing feature models do not provide modeling elements that can represent security requirements, and detailed modeling methods. Application systems that are built using such feature models, not representing security, cannot guarantee stability and reliability. Against this backdrop, this study aims to extend modeling elements to represent security in feature models by reflecting security characteristics and policies, and to propose a MDD-based layered secure feature modeling process. To do so, an extended secure feature metamodel is defined to ensure security requirements are represented in feature models. Based on this metamodel, a hierarchical secure feature modeling process that is added with security is defined. By doing so, more secure feature models that reflect security can be created.
