Abstract

In this paper, a mobile robot that can detect human's location and behavior for following and leading human is proposed with the use of low frequency, radio frequency communication, various sensors and wearable devices. To know the user's location, the strength of low frequency signal is mainly used. It can also predict sudden change of human behavior by various sensors such as ultrasonic sensor, gyro sensor and acceleration sensor. Also, we can control robot and indicate direction of avoidance by gesture recognition of smart watch which is one of wearable device. A mobile robot gives us convenience for human. Furthermore, it can apply to luggage bag, shopping cart, stroller and so on.
