A modulation parameter transmission method using PN511 sequence in hierarchically modulated T-DMB system

Abstract

We propose a modulation parameter transmission method using PN511 sequence for hierarchically modulated T-DMB system. The proposed method transmits several additional bits by superposing PN511 sequence in PRS keeping backward compatibility with existing T-DMB system. We showed the transmission performance of the proposed method and the result of backward compatibility test.
