Abstract
The contactless battery charger that utilizes a pair of printed-circuit-board (PCB) windings as a contactless energy transfer device is presented. It is naturally suited for a low-profile portable telecommunication/computing electronics such as cellular phones, palm-tops and other hand held electronics. The prototype charger is adapted to a cellular phone and demonstrated satisfactory performance.
