Abstract

A new species of the genus Rhagio Fabricius is described for the Korean peninsula, namely, R. seorsus sp. nov. We document the diagnosis, description, distribution data, and taxonomic remarks of this new snipe fly using external habitus and both male and female terminal structures. Additionally, a key to identifying the Korean Rhagio species is presented.
