Abstract

Recently, due to development of IoT system, the technology of embedded system is also being developed. When these systems fail, it can make problems in daily activities and critical services. So such systems need to be tested intensely. During testing IoT system as with embedded system, one of major problems is handling real environment with hardware. There are existing testing techniques such as virtual prototyping, code simulation and emulation. Virtual prototyping has solved this problem partially and code simulation solve many difficulties. To completely testing concurrency behavior, however, most code simulators are not both efficient and accurate. Though emulation technique has solved more many difficulties then simulation technique, it has high cost of implementation. To solve this problem, in this paper, we propose concurrency-guaranteed code simulation technique for embedded systems with high accuracy and low cost of implementation. In the perspective of concurrency, this technique can obtain more accurate and faster testing result.
