N2 - The purpose of this study was to analyze the possibility and limitations of responding to commercial gentrification through district unit planning by comparing and analyzing the permission trends in food service businesses and the time of establishment and application of district unit plans. It took 1year and 8months to 3years and 2months from the establishment of the district unit plan to the public notice, and compared with the permission trends in food service businesses, It is relatively fast, but it can be predicted that, due to the delay in time until the public notice, at the point when the district unit plan was finally announced, gentrification has already progressed considerably. In addition, most regional changes during the district unit planning period are made through 'change of use' activities, so it is necessary to implement measures to control those actions in conjunction with gentrification response policies.
