Abstract

This paper proposes an adaptive EDCA reservation scheme for service channels to be carried out by beacon messages acting as mini-slot in reservation systems. Theoretical analysis show that the proposed schemes outperform the legacy IEEE 802.11p/WAVE standard without adversely affecting the delivery of safety applications on the control channel.
