Abstract

In this study, the high efficient dual sustain discharge mode is studied that can produce the discharge twice at one sustain pulse. The IR emission, discharge current, and ICCD image are examined in the dual sustain discharge mode. It is observed that the improved luminous efficacy of 20 % is obtained in the dual sustain discharge mode in 6-in. test panel.
