Abstract
In this paper, adaptable speed based collision avoidance method has been proposed. To achieve safe driving against collision, the proposed method changes vehicle speed in order to keep sufficient distance to avoid collision. Using the proposed method, collision avoidance technique can be achieved without any consideration of other vehicle driven on the next lane. The simulation results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
