Content analysis of chromatographic part in middle school science and high school chemistry textbooks of the 7th education curriculum

Abstract

The chromatographic contents represented in middle school 'Science 2' and high school 'Chemistry II' textbooks. In this study, we analyzed the contents related to chromatography of middle and high school textbooks to find and to improve problems. The analysis is composed of general constitution, introduction, experiment, definition and principle, application, history and types, and others in the textbooks. In conclusion, the contents of the textbooks developed in the 7th education curriculum are not diverse, and the level of chromatographic contents in the middle school textbooks is similar to those of elementary school textbook.
