Abstract
In this paper, a new current controller that has both fast transient response in transient and high accuracy in steady state is proposed. In this scheme, a reference modification part is incorporated with the generally used synchronous frame PI controller for the fast transient response. Through the simulation and experimental results, it is observed that the proposed controller has much less transient time than the conventional synchronous PI regulator.
