Abstract
In this letter, a new current controller, which has both fast transient response in the transient state and high accuracy in the steady state, is proposed. In this scheme, a reference modification part is incorporated with the generally used synchronous frame proportional integral (PI) controller for the fast transient response. Through experimental results, it is observed that the proposed controller has much less transient time than the conventional synchronous PI regulator.
