Abstract

As various types of disasters occur frequently, a system of using data which can detect and analyze disasters is becoming increasingly important to prevent them from happening. This study conducted standardization of data considering characteristics of structured/unstructured data and built a database to analyze social, open, and sensor-gathered data related to disasters. The system can be used to support decisionmaking on responding urban disasters in association with social data as well as for damage assessment and visualization analysis based on GIS applications.
