Abstract

We demonstrate a novel optical video receiver to provide dual band broadcasting services, CATV and SATV, by using a single photo-diode. The spectral flatness of the receiver was within ±1.5 dB over both VHF/UHF and L-bands with more than 36 dB band isolation.
