Abstract

More information can be gathered when autonomous or self-driving vehicles can connect to and communicate with other vehicles and their environments, improving safe self-driving. However, we need an effective scheme that encourages drivers to share state information voluntarily while driving because the information can be shared only by their permission. Therefore, this paper proposes an incentive scheme to boost information sharing and hence improve autonomous driving safety.
