Enriched performance measure approach for efficient reliability-based electromagnetic designs

Abstract

This paper proposes an enriched performance measure approach (PMA) for reliability-based design optimization (RBDO) to significantly improve computational efficiency when applied to electromagnetic (EM) products. To achieve the goal, three improvements are made over the original PMA. The TEAM Workshop Problem 22 with three parameters is provided to investigate three improvement effects on numerical efficiency of RBDO.
