Abstract

In this paper, an observation of body force distribution and its regularized one are dealt with. The calculated body force field is irregularly distributed in general because of its nature. For obtaining regularized force distribution, equivalent rectangular element (ERE) method is proposed. It can be easily implemented in the stage of post-processing. By applying the ERE method to the magnetic charge and the magnetizing current methods, which are used for the force calculation, regularized distribution of electromagnetic body force can be obtained.
