Abstract

This paper studies the problem of stability for Takagi-Sugeno (T-S) fuzzy systems with time varying delay. By employing a new augmented Lyapunov-Krasovskii function, using the second-order Bessel-Legendre inequality and combining with reciprocally convex approach, some less conservative delay-dependent stability criteria are derived within the framework of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Two numerical examples are proposed to illustrate the effectiveness and the improvement of the proposed method.
