Abstract

In large-scale motors, iron rack of magnets can be used for the production efficiencies. In this paper, the magnetic forces of single bed and double bed types of the rack were compared using the virtual air-gap method. Also, the carved grooves on the rack are proposed for improving the magnetic binding forces.
