Kaon electroweak form factors in the light-front quark model

Abstract

We investigate the form factors and decay rates for the semileptonic decays of the (Formula presented) using the light-front quark model. The form factors (Formula presented) are calculated in the (Formula presented) frame and analytically continued to the timelike region, (Formula presented) Our numerical results for the physical observables (Formula presented) (Formula presented) (the slope of (Formula presented) at (Formula presented)), (Formula presented) and (Formula presented) are quite comparable with the experimental data and other theoretical model calculations. The nonvalence contributions from the (Formula presented) frame are also estimated.
