Abstract

The investigation of magnetic anisotropy and electronic transport properties in single crystal of EuCu2Ge2 and EuCu2Si2 was presented. Temperature dependent magnetization M(T) and the resistivity of the crystals were also measured. The analysis showed that EuCu2Ge2 shows two different transitions in M(T) depending upon the magnetic field orientation.
