Abstract

The synthesis of anhydrous copper hydroxide alkanesulfonates and their magnetic properties were reported. The compounds revealed a long-range magnetic order, with both antiferromagnetic and ferromagnetic interactions. The coupling parameters corresponding to ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic interactions were obtained by means of dc and ac magnetic susceptibility measurements.
