Abstract

In this paper, we investigate the optimal design problem of lenticular lens array show for wide viewing angle lenticular 3D display. It is shown that the use of triplet lens array enables the wide-viewing angle observation with low-cross talk. We propose the optimal design procedure of triplet lens array for lenticular 3D displays using genetic algorithm with specially devised optimization cost function.
