N2 - The effects of various sustain waveforms, such as non-overlapped, half-overlapped, and overlapped sustain waveforms, on the recovery characteristics of temporal bright image sticking in ac-PDPs were examined. The overlapped sustain waveform was found to be the most effective for a fast recovery from temporal bright image sticking based on intensifying the sustain discharge intensity without increasing the sustain voltage level.
