Abstract

In this paper, the physical and antimicrobial properties of gold-poly(ethyl methacrylate) nanocomposites (Au-PEMA) are evaluated. Characterization of gold nanoparticles was carried out based on UV-Vis spectroscopy and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The specimens were characterized by attenuatedDelivered total reflectance by Publishing Fourier transform Technology infrared to: spectroscopy Elsevier BV (ATR-FTIR), thermal gravimetric analysis (TGA), IP: 203.56.241.128 differential scanning On: Tue, calorimetry 13 Oct 2015 (DSC), 01:15:43 and field emission scanning electron microscope (FE-SEM).
