Abstract

The demand for the Internet phone is increasing rapidly and the customer's preference of the telecommunication usage are changing accordingly. However, an analytic study of the Internet phone is minimal. Therefore, this study focuses on developing a prediction model to utilize as a customer marketing strategy to encourage the customers with nonpreference for the wired phone in order to switch to the Internet phone in the future. We have performed customer clustering by the K-means algorithm and developed a prediction model by the decision tree (C5.0) and the neural network.
