Abstract

We present pressure and magnetic field-dependent resistivity measurement on (U0.45Y0.55)Pd3. With increasing pressure, the resistivity increases and simultaneously a local maximum arising from the crystal field splitting of the U ions moves up in temperature. We also found that an anomaly in the resistivity at the Neel temperature increases slightly in temperature with pressure. We discuss these findings with reference to the non-Fermi liquid behaviour found in (U0.2Y0.8)Pd3.
