Abstract

This study was conducted to identify high-risk pregnant women and the factors affecting high-risk pregnancy. The study patients were 238 pregnant women who visited three women’s hospitals in D and P for prenatal tests. The data collecting period was from July to August 2016, and the data were collected through structured questionnaires. The data were analyzed for means and standard deviations using the t-test and binomial logistic regression analysis with SPSS 18 statistical software. The results identified graduate school graduates, persons with a household monthly income of 4-6 million KRW, persons with low spousal psychological violence, and persons with low support from significant others as predictive factors of a high-risk pregnancy. This study is significant in that it identified predictors of a high-risk pregnancy as base data for developing nursing intervention programs to prevent and manage high-risk pregnancy.
