Abstract

The magnetic and phase properties of Co xTi 1-xO 2 anatase thin films grown epitaxially on (001) LaAlO 3 were examined by a ractive rf magnetron cosputter deposition. It was shown that the Co xTi 1-xO 2 thin films exhibit room-temperature ferromagnetism by hysteresis in M-H loop. The examination of the surface mocrostrucutre of the film by field-emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) was also demonstrated. The surface surface segregation from Ti-Co-O particles in highly doped films was also observed.
