Taxonomic review of the snipe fly genus Chrysopilus Macquart (Diptera: Rhagionidae) from Korea, with description of a new species

Abstract

In the present study, we taxonomically reviewed the Korean species of the genus Chrysopilus. A total of three species belonging to this genus were recognized to occur in Korea. Moreover, a new species, Chrysopilus peninsularis sp. nov., is described in this paper. A taxonomic key of the Korean species was also provided.
