Abstract

In the present study, four species belonging to two genera of the Korean family Xylomyidae were identified. Among them, two species, Solva harmandi Séguy, 1956 and Xylomya longicornis Matsumura, 1915 are being reported for the first time from Korea. In addition, the genus Solva Walker is confirmed as a new country record. Here, we present the diagnosis, description, and distribution of these unrecorded species along with the identification key for Korean Xylomyidae species.
