Abstract
The nanoporous nickel phosphate VSB-5 has been synthesized without seeding by using inorganic bases instead of the reported template molecule, 1,3-diaminopropane. This synthesis demonstrates that large-pore metal phosphates may be synthesized without template molecules and the synthesis method can be very simple, inexpensive, and environmentally benign.
