Abstract

In this paper, we propose watermark algorithm called TDWIA (Time-Division Watermark Inserting Algorithm) for video, and we propose to apply it to H.264 baseline profile CODEC. By inserting a watermark into the spatial domain of several frames, we easy can insert watermarks into the original picture, and it shows strong character against attack. For verification of TDWIA, we designed a TDWIA hardware core by Verilog-HDL, also used an Excalibur FAGA chip and JM 8.7 code for hardware & software core simulation. The PSNR of watermarked pictures is more than 60dB compared with original pictures and watermark is kept in high compress ratio.
