Abstract

We performed optical-pump, terahertz-probe measurements on optimally doped La2-xSrxCuO4 under an applied magnetic field. This reveals the strong interplay between magnetic and optical Cooper pair breaking that governs quasiparticle recovery dynamics in superconducting cuprates.
