Universal and nonuniversal features in shadowing dynamics of nonhyperbolic chaotic systems with unstable-dimension variability

The universal and nonuniversal features in the shadowing dynamics of nonhyperbolic chaotic systems with unstable-dimension variability were discussed. As such, the result provided a more detailed understanding of the fundamental problem of shadowing in terms of statistical characterizations. The theoretical treatment show that the shadowing problem shares the same dynamical mechanism as that for on-off intermittency under noise.
