Abstract

AERONET and SKYNET measurements are used to validate MODIS-derived aerosol optical thickness over East Asia. MODIS-SKYNET and MODIS-AERONET collocated points hit in expected error lines but correlation between MODIS-AERONET is relatively higher than MODIS-SKYNET.
